Pipe repair Arrived to home for freeze break on copper water line. Upon inspection found split in copper line. MyGuy supplied and installed new piece of pipe and 2 couplings to make connection and repair break. Turned water on to test for leaks, there are none at this time.
Arrived on site client stated when they used the upstairs bathroom it came out of the kitchen sink. Both kitchen sink and upstairs bathroom appear to be tied together so today I offered to hydro jet the kitchen sink and remove all shark bites fittings under the kitchen sink. Client would like to just hydro jet the kitchen sink today. After jetting I tested by filling up the sink with hot water multiple times. The kitchen sink is now draining as it should.
Evaluated plumbing system to find leak and provided estimates to bring water heater up to code. Barnegat, NJ 08005
Arrived on site client stated that her shower head was leaking. Upon inspection it appeared the shower cartridge went bad. Today I replaced the Kohler cartridge for the shower and when done tested for leaks. The shower head is no longer leaking and it gets hot and cold as it should.
Provided estimates to replace water heater. Barnegat, NJ 08005
Arrived to the home for a mystery leak somewhere from the upstairs laundry room. Client has had multiple companies out including roofers, plumbers, and dryer vent specialists to try and find the leak. Client had cut many holes in the upstairs bedroom and a small hole on the first floor to fine to leak. I was able to see the copper risers for the washer box from the bedroom and they were all dry. I advised to the client to let me first cut a hole below the riser to see if there are any other leaks. After cutting the hole I discovered the hot side riser was very corroded while the cold was fine. I asked the client if they have had any work done in the bedroom recently. They advised me that they had the flooring done about 4years ago. I then let the client know to let me cut and removed the corroded riser to see if there is a pinhole or anything of the sort. Turned off water to the home. Drained down the system. Cut out and removed corroded pipe. Discovered that a finish nail had penetr
Provided estimates to replace tub on second floor. Barnegat, NJ 08005
Cut open Sheetrock to expose damaged drain stack. Cut out and removed damaged piping. Supplied and installed 3in no hub coupling and made up the difference. Secured my connection and ran all fixtures in the bathroom group to check for leaks. There are no leaks at this time. Disconnected and removed existing hose bib. Supplied and installed new hose Bibb with oversized plate to cover the larger hole. Secured hose Bibb to the home. Made up water connections in basement. Secured those connections and turned the ball valve on to the hose Bibb to check for leaks. There are no leaks at this time.
Pulled and disconnected toilet from the home. Plugged off drain and capped off water line for toilet. Disconnected shower trim and drain. Left dollar plug for drain after removal of bathtub. Cut and capped off water and waste for under the vanity. *The water lines for the vanity, appear to tee off and go under trailer and rise up to provide water for the shower in the other bathroom. Vanity will needed to be demolished at the time of removal, homeowner is aware.
Arrived to the home, water is currently off to the home, client states active leak going into the basement closet. I first turned the water on to the home to find the leak and there are currently no active leaks found. I then started running fixtures on the first floor bathroom and again no leaks. There are to full bathrooms upstairs ran fixtures in the master and again no leaks in the basement. I then flushed the toilet in the hallway bathroom, and I have found the leak. I then ran the shower in that bathroom and it is still leak. I drew the client a picture so they can understand drainage for a bathroom group. Client advised me that last week they have hung up shelves in the first floor closet and now there is a leak. Client more than likely has screwed a screw into the building drain for that bathroom group. Due to time restraints, client has requested to have a morning appointment next week to have this issue fixed. I will collect a deposit for the work to be completed. We are retu
Arrived on site to a possible recall. We were here two other visits and could not identify the leak. After running water for 5 minutes I found that there was a pinhole leak underneath the weight for the faucet and the leak would only show when you pull on the hose for the faucet. Gave options to either install our faucet or customer supplied faucet.
Installed customer supplied vanity and widespread faucet in master bedroom. Cut Sheetrock on the left side of the vanity to access the drain. Installed drain piping through the cabinets and in between the drawers. Installed new shut off valves for client. Secured all my connections and turned the water on and pressure tested the sink to check for leaks. There are no leaks at this time. *Warranty on valves and tubular supplied by MyGuy Plumbing. *Can not warranty customer supplied parts.
We had recently came out to the home for a mystery leak under the kitchen sink, at the time of that service the technician had tightened something that was loose under the sink. I arrived back to the home for this mystery leak under the sink. After many several minutes of trying to find the leak, I discovered that the sharkbite fitting for the cold side under the sink is leaking from where the push to connect connects. I advised to the client to have me remove all the sharkbites under the kitchen sink to rule out any other potential leaks from the other ones in the future. Turned off the water to the home. Drained down the system. Cut out and removed sharkbite valves from the home. Supplied and installed new straight stops under the kitchen sink. Secured my connections and turned the water back on to check for leaks. 5ere are no leaks at this time.
